Peter Griffiths (statistician) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Peter Griffiths (statistician) Peter Griffiths is the chief editor of ''CricketArchive'', the largest cricket data base on the internet, providing score cards from the 18th century to the current day. Griffiths was named the Association of Cricket Statisticians and Historians' "Statistician of the Year" in 2008 for his research and efforts setting up and running ''CricketArchive''. Griffiths joined the Association in 1977, before becoming involved with ''Cricinfo'' in 1994 and subsequently creating ''CricketArchive'' in 2004 with Philip Bailey. As a result of his work, the scorecards of every first-class and List A cricket match were now online, together with many thousands of Second Eleven, Minor County, club and junior matches in an archive including over 500,000 matches and 500,000 players. In accepting the award, Griffiths stressed that ''CricketArchive'' was the result of a team effort, including a number of Association members and other volunteers worldwide.〔http://cricketarchive.com/contributors.html〕 ==References==
